Step-Video-T2V states 30 billion parameters

The repository introduces this release as a 30 billion parameter model. It is the largest single figure in the register, and the memory table on the same pages is consistent with it at over 72GB in every configuration listed. As of 2026-09-22.

Inclusion rule. The value this page is about, the detail the vendor attached to it, and the two columns that change how it should be read. A column the vendor left empty keeps its row and says so. Order. This column first, then its detail, then the two columns that qualify it.

1Agreement between the columns is the exception

Elsewhere in the register a 13B release states a 6GB floor and a 2B release states no figure at all. Here thirty billion parameters comes with 78.55 GB at the largest setting and 72.48 GB at the smallest.

Anyone who reasoned from the count to the machine would have been right on this row. That is a coincidence of a large model documented at high settings, not a rule to carry to the next row.

2Where the count came from

The repository's own introduction, not a configuration file and not a third figure derived from the weights on disk. Reading a count off file sizes would have produced a number in a unit nobody published.

The entry keeps the phrasing and the page. Thirty billion is round enough to be a description rather than a measurement, and the register does not sharpen it.

3What thirty billion does not settle

Not the frame rate, which the repository never attaches to its 204 frame ceiling. Not the resolution, which appears only as the configurations of the memory table.

A large model is not automatically a long or a high-resolution one, and this release documents itself through a memory table rather than through an output specification.

The count comes from github.com/stepfun-ai, read 2026-09-22, exactly as the vendor wrote it. Everything else this release publishes is on its family entry; why the count sits in its own column is on size. Nearby: Size in the release name, 2B with no floor.
