Cosmos publishes 2,059,174,912 parameters
The card states the number of model parameters as 2,059,174,912. Nothing else in the register is published to the unit, and the same card gives 32.54 GB of VRAM and names three supported GPU architectures. As of 2026-09-22.
| Column | What the pages state |
|---|---|
| Size, in the vendor's own words | 2,059,174,912 parameters |
| The detail published beside it | Published as an exact count, not a rounded figure |
| Licence, from the same pages | NVIDIA Open Model License |
| Hardware, from the same pages | 32.54 GB of GPU VRAM |
Inclusion rule. The value this page is about, the detail the vendor attached to it, and the two columns that change how it should be read. A column the vendor left empty keeps its row and says so. Order. This column first, then its detail, then the two columns that qualify it.
1Exactness has one real payoff
It removes the convention question. A rounded two billion could include or exclude a text encoder and a reader would never know; a count to the unit is a statement about a specific artefact.
That makes this the reference row for the column. Where another release publishes a bound or a name, this one publishes a measurement.
2The card is exact about the run as well
32.54 GB of GPU VRAM, with Ampere, Hopper and Blackwell named as supported. Two decimal places on a memory figure is unusual, and naming architectures rather than card models is more durable.
Both are still statements about one configuration. Precision does not transfer a figure to a different resolution or a different clip length.
3Two billion parameters and thirty-two gigabytes
The other 2B release in the register states no memory figure at all. Here the same order of size comes with a figure over thirty gigabytes, which is higher than a reader extrapolating from the count would guess.
The two rows together are the argument for keeping the columns apart. Neither the count nor the absence of one predicts the number beside it.

The count comes from huggingface.co/nvidia, read 2026-09-22, exactly as the vendor wrote it. Everything else this release publishes is on its family entry; why the count sits in its own column is on size. Nearby: The 5B that runs at home, One size, several builds.
