Two vendors publish two figures each
SkyReels-V2 gives about 14.7GB on its 1.3B and around 51.2GB on its 14B, both at 540P. HunyuanVideo gives 60GB at 720px1280px and 45GB at 544px960px, both on one 80G card. Two pairs, two different variables. As of 2026-09-22.
| Point | SkyReels-V2 | HunyuanVideo |
|---|---|---|
| Hardware, as each vendor states it | About 14.7GB peak on the 1.3B at 540P | 60GB peak at 720px1280px, 129 frames |
| The detail published beside it | Around 51.2GB for the same 540P on the 14B | 45GB at 544px960px, on a single 80G GPU |
| Resolution, from the same pages | 544 x 960 at 540P, 720 x 1280 at 720P | No output size recorded |
| Length, from the same pages | 1457 frames for a 60s video | 129 frames, as a measurement setting |
Inclusion rule. Two families whose published values in this column lead to opposite decisions. A pair that happens to agree is not listed, because agreement is already visible on the column summary. Order. The column itself first, then its detail, then the columns that qualify it.
1Both pairs are properly controlled
SkyReels holds 540P constant and varies the weights, which isolates what the parameter count costs. HunyuanVideo holds the card constant and varies the pixels, which isolates what the frame costs.
Most double figures in this field vary two things at once and are therefore uninterpretable. Neither of these does.
2The two effects have different shapes
A tenfold parameter increase produces roughly three and a half times the memory. Roughly doubling the pixel count produces about a third more. Weights dominate the total; the frame moves the remainder.
Put together, the pairs describe the same underlying structure from two directions, which is more than either vendor set out to publish.
3What neither pair settles
SkyReels attaches no clip length to its figures, and its frame table runs to 1457 frames for sixty seconds. HunyuanVideo's larger figure includes 129 frames and no frame rate.
So both pairs leave the time dimension out, in different ways. The register keeps the frames where the vendors put them and does not convert.
