Two 13B releases, one memory figure

FramePack describes 13B models and a 6GB minimum with the card generations named. LongCat-Video states 13.6B parameters and no memory figure and no card. The counts are within half a billion of each other. As of 2026-09-22.

Inclusion rule. Two families whose published values in this column lead to opposite decisions. A pair that happens to agree is not listed, because agreement is already visible on the column summary. Order. The column itself first, then its detail, then the columns that qualify it.

1The pair isolates disclosure from engineering

Both are around thirteen billion parameters and both produce video. Whatever the architectural differences, they are not large enough to explain one repository stating a 6GB floor and the other stating nothing.

That makes this the cleanest example in the register of the hardware column measuring a writing decision rather than a model.

2What the silent release does publish

720p at 30fps, a 13.6B count and an MIT licence. It is a plainly written repository that skipped the most requested value, and the frame rate it does give is the highest in the register.

The length claim has the same shape: minutes-long, with no number. Two of its five columns are qualitative.

3Why no figure is carried across

A reader might reasonably assume the LongCat release also runs in single-digit gigabytes. The register does not, because the two are different architectures and the 6GB figure depends on FramePack's own packing approach.

Borrowing a figure between rows would make the register the source of a claim neither vendor made. The cell stays empty.
