Four seconds against a stated minute

Stable Video Diffusion describes its output as rather short, at four seconds or less. LTX-Video states support for up to 60 seconds. Fifteen times apart, and the wording is as different as the figures. As of 2026-09-22.

Inclusion rule. Two families whose published values in this column lead to opposite decisions. A pair that happens to agree is not listed, because agreement is already visible on the column summary. Order. The column itself first, then its detail, then the columns that qualify it.

1Length is where this field moved fastest

These releases are years apart, and the column mixes them without adjustment. Four seconds was a reasonable output when the earlier weights shipped, and sixty is a different category of product.

That is worth holding onto when scanning the column. It measures publication dates as much as architectures.

2The wording carries real information

Rather short, at four seconds or less is written as a limitation, which tells a reader the maintainers expected it to be a problem. Up to sixty seconds is written as support, which is a claim.

The register keeps both phrasings. Recording four seconds and sixty seconds alone would drop the part that tells a production which way to plan.

3Neither claim is fully costed

SVD's four seconds comes with 25 frames at 576x1024 and a timing on an A100, but no memory floor. LTX-Video's minute comes with no frame size, no rate and no memory figure at all.

Long output is where memory grows fastest, so the release making the larger claim is the one with less to check it against.
